Christmas HAUL!!!

Hello everyone :)

Firstly I had would like to apologise for the lack of activity on my blog but I have been super busy before xmas trying to get all the last minute stuff done and then over xmas I have been taking it easy with my family.

Also I want to say that in no way is this post bragging, I am grateful for all I got and not trying to show off. I mainly asked for vouchers and money so this haul may be a little boring but I am hitting the sales today so will add in all the stuff I purchase into this post later :)

So from my Mum I got the new Katy Perry perfume 'Killer Queen', I absolutely love it and I honestly think you cant go wrong with a Katy Perry perfume, I had the 'Meow' perfume and its to die for too. Also from my Mum I got the Real techniques face set of brushes and the eye set, they are unbelievably good!! I got a £30 voucher for Debenhams, and I ordered MAC studio fix fluid in NC15 and Urban decay potion primer travel size, just to try out first, and they are gonna be collected this weekend, I am very excited about this :)

Me and my boyfriend set a budget for 100euro for xmas to spend on each other, because we are going away for our anniversary in February and decided that we will save up loads of money and treat each other then :) So he got me two real techniques brushes that didnt come in either set, the stippling brush and the expert face buffing brush, I honestly dont know how I done my foundation without these brushes. He also got me fluffy pj's and a super comfy dressing gown, I always need new cosy stuff for xmas. I also got gorgeous jeans in River Island, they are dark denim with a leatherette waist band. I got a New York beanie and river island new york perfume.

From my boyfriends Mum, I got a 30euro voucher for boots, a lovely silver bracelet and matching earrings.

Orla, my boyfriends sister, she got me a lovely vintage looking mug set that came with hot choco, marshmallows, and a wee whisk; another dressing gown, more perfume, a big teddy, a heart shaped locket necklace, an acrylic nail cutter, and a little eyeshadow makeup set.

My nana gave me 20 euro and a pair of slippers with owls on, which are adorable :)

I had planned on putting pictures along side all of this but my camera decided not to charge :( so hopefully u enjoy this none the less...

Damn Xmas Tree!!

Hello Everyone!

Ever feel sometimes like you have no money, talk about frustrating!! I got paid today and I swear I only have 20 euro left!! Did I really have to buy a xmas tree?? and loads of pretty baubles, when there is already two xmas trees in the house haha :) I need money management classes!

Also I still haven't finished my xmas shopping, I am a disaster when it comes to been organised! Please tell me there is more people out there like me....Un-organised, not money savvy, shopoholic, etc etc!!

My Make-up :) Smokey Purple eye :)

I thought I'd do a post and show you my make-up this evening :) I will list all the products I used for this make-up look down below!!

So started off with my normal foundation routine and concealed :) (look posessed here)

Then I used my NYX jumbo eye pencil in Cashmere and applied to eyelids to act as a base for my eyeshadow.

Applied my urban decay eyeshadow, this evening I used dark purples and black for the crease and outer corner and picked a bright purple for my inner lids :)

After that I tidied up my face and applied powder, blush and bronzer and some lip gloss. Also added winged eyeliner and some mascara!

And tadaaa :) Ended up with this :)

I love the purple, really pops :)

Also I am VERY sorry for poor quality in pictures BUT my battery in my camera died and cant be assed looking for charger :/ lazzy!!

Monday Monday!!

Good Morning,

 Since I've only started my blog, emmm, yesterday!!!, none of you's really know me that well so this morning I'm going to give you a bit of insight into my life and what has been going on :) 

Well as I had mentioned in my first blog post, I haven't been having an easy time with jobs, courses and just figuring out what to do! This has really knocked my confidence, I have gained weight  and generally has made me feel useless. BUT I am planning and taking a big step and I am going to start a make up artist course after xmas and I have also started this blog where you can all follow my journey, and dont worry it wont all be blogs of me giving out about how things have not went as planned! I just want you's to get to know me a bit better.

I have 2 little sisters, Stephanie 11 and Ellen 6! They are best thing thats ever happened to me and can always turn my frown upside down. 

I always had a great relationship with my parents but in particular my dad, I was a daddys girl. About 5 years ago my parents split up after 20 odd years of marriage and that has really took its toll on me. I know you's are probably thinking "you are 23 how can it affect you", but it did and I still have a cry about it. I had kind of got my head around it, and I moved in with my dad and we done everything together and things were amazing, he was my best friend, simple! But slowly things changed, and these things I dont want to post in this blog but every bit of trust I had in my dad deteriorated and suddenly disappeared :( I have very little contact with my dad and even when he tries I find it hard to even look at him let alone have a relationship with him. I have tears in my eyes even writing this. Luckily I had my mum to pick up the pieces and my boyfriend of nearly 5 years too. They are my rocks!!

So, Conor is my all! He is 22 (I like them younger lol) and I have been with him for 5 years now in February and I could not be happier, I just think I have found the one! I currently live with him at his parents house, which is hard sometimes but we are inseparable and wouldn't have it any other way.

Introducing... ME!!

Hello everyone!!

As you can probably tell, I am new to all this! Quite daunting but at the same time I am very excited about this venture in my life starting RIGHT NOW!!

So to begin I'd like to tell you all a bit about myself.

My name is Megan, I am 23 years old and I live in Ireland. My life has been beyond easy and throughout this experience you will more than likely hear bit by bit about the ups and downs in my life, but at the moment I want to begin this blog on an UP :)

I left secondary school after doing my leaving cert exams which the biggy exams over in Ireland where students stress and do a lot of cramming. I had applied for loads of courses and loads of colleges but I didn't get the offer a wanted so that was a downer, but i went out to a further education college and done admin, all I can say about that is, it was not for me! So i dropped out and took a year out and worked a little and enjoyed 'bumming about' as the Irish call it!

To be honest I never really knew what I wanted to really do, and been truthful its only this last few months I have figured out what my passion is and what I really want to do, and that is make-up artistry :)
Oh but wasn't just as simple as it sounds for me to realize this, I went to college and studied hairdressing, I have been in and out of various jobs, none of them fulfilling my dreams, and I also studied pre-nursing and guess what??? Nope didn't like it!

I always loved make-up since I was young, my friends would always come to me to get their make-up done before nights out and for special occasions, and always, until this day, I have been following some of my favorite bloggers and you-tubers. So since I'm not a schoolee kinda girl, I found this really cool online make-up artist course and I am going to enroll for it after xmas and I am very very excited!

I am going to leave that for now as I don't want to bombard you with 'The life of Megan' and bore the daylights out of you, BUT if you enjoyed my first blog and would like to hear more about me, let me know :) Also if you have any feedback please let me, because I am a newbie.
